NASFAA sends the full text of job ads posted on its Web site to subscribers of its NASFAAJOBS listserv. A Web site ID is not required and there is no charge to use this service. To avoid in-box clutter, only one listserv message is sent each day there are ads, with all ads included in that message. The number of messages sent each week depends on when NASFAA receives the ads; it is anticipated that there will be an average of two or three listserv message each week.
How to Subscribe
You can sign on to the listserv by following these directions.
- First, create an e-mail message that says the following (substitute your name where it says "Firstname Lastname"):
SUBSCRIBE NASFAAJOBS Firstname Lastname
- Second, send that message to the e-mail address:
LISTSERV@LISTSERV.NASFAA.ORG
(Do not include a subject line or any other text.)
That's all it takes! A successful sign-up will result in your receiving a welcome message.
How to Unsubscribe
- To unsubscribe from this Listserv, first create an e-mail message that says:
SIGNOFF NASFAAJOBS
- Second, send that message to the e-mail address:
LISTSERV@LISTSERV.NASFAA.ORG
(Do not include a subject line or any other text.)
For your convenience, instructions on how to sign off the listserv are included at the end of each listserv mailing message.
Other Ways to Access Job Ads
Links to job ads are part of Today's News and the weekly NASFAA Newsletter. In both cases, you are provided with the position title, institution, and state.

How to Place a Job Ad
NASFAAJOBS is a one-way listserv; subscribers are unable to post comments or jobs to the list. Instructions for submitting a job ad and information on costs may be found at http://www.nasfaa.org/Apps/Classifieds/Rates.asp. Ads posted on the Web site are automatically included in the listserv at no additional cost.
