The Department of Education announces the instructor-led, online training that will describe upcoming enhancements to the Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) System. In particular, we will discuss changes resulting from the Budget Control Act (BCA) of 2011 that will be implemented in July 2012, including the elimination of the up-front interest rebate for Federal Direct Loans and the loss of subsidized loan eligibility for graduate and professional students.
