Several NASFAA Board members on Feb. 6 had a message for Capitol Hill policymakers: If the federal government’s across-the-board spending cuts kick in next month, college financial aid offices will be forced to reallocate aid awards to students who have already received award notifications, and may not be able to attend college without that money.
