Yesterday the House of Representatives passed a Fiscal Year (FY) 2013 continuing resolution (CR) that will fund the federal government for the remainder of the fiscal year (September 30). The federal government is currently operating under a 6-month CR that is set to expire on March 27th. The new House CR, which passed by a vote of 267 to 151, takes sequester cuts into account and would also impose an additional .098% across-the-board cut to most programs.
