The Department of Education has modified the NSLDS Professional Access website to permit lenders and lender servicers access to borrowers only when there is an existing relationship between the organization and the borrower on NSLDS. Lenders and lender servicers no longer have access to a borrower's information solely to determine if a relationship can be established.
