Get Involved
Volunteering is an exciting professional
activity that benefits you, your colleagues, your institutions,
and the students we all serve. NASFAA depends on the talents and energy
of individuals at member institutions to carry out many association
activities. Of course, NASFAA also has a dedicated staff based in
Washington, D.C. But the only way to accomplish our overall mission and
objectives is through the collaborative efforts of both groups.
Volunteers carry out many of NASFAA's projects and
activities by serving on annually appointed committees and task forces. Others help with smaller projects that require less time, less experience, and an informal selection process. Volunteering gives you a
chance to:
- Enhance your professional development
- Further your leadership potential
- Expand your perspective
- Enhance your resume
- Strengthen your skills in financial aid administration
- Learn new skills in related areas
- Widen your network of colleagues
