Membership Database
The membership database contains information submitted to NASFAA by a member organization on its membership form or annual membership update. This information contains directory-type data about individuals employed by a member organization (e.g., name, address, phone, e-mail). The database also includes information about an individual's participation in certain NASFAA activities, such as service on a committee or attendance at a NASFAA conference or workshop, as well as IDs and Passwords for Web-based services if requested by the individual or the member organization to which he or she belongs.
Information contained in the membership database may on occasion be rented to a NASFAA member organization in order to send a mailing. Such organizations must sign an agreement restricting use of mailing list information. A copy of the mailing list rental agreement is available from Membership@NASFAA.org.
How NASFAA Uses Information Collected via On-line Communication
NASFAA uses the information provided by individuals when using our on-line services to complete the specific service transaction. For meeting registrations, a list of attendee names and addresses may be made available to meeting attendees, sponsors, and exhibitors; no other information is shared with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that registration
For e-mail correspondence not collected via on-line services on NASFAA's Web site, the association routinely uses the return e-mail addresses to answer the e-mail we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.
How to Opt Out of Communication with NASFAA
If you would like to discontinue receiving Today's News via e-mail, not have a Web site ID and Password, or be removed from the on-line and print NASFAA directories, contact the Membership Department at Membership@NASFAA.org or call 202-785-0453 ext. 1.
Our Commitment to Data Security
To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, NASFAA has in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

NASFAA never collects or maintains information at its Web site from persons known to be under age 13, and no part of our Web site is designed to attract anyone under age 13. Please do not communicate with or contact us if you are under age 13.
