DME will support semester-long internships for promising students who plan to enter a career in public policy or student aid research. DME interns will learn—from mentors on the NASFAA staff and hands-on experience—how to advocate effectively on behalf of students and schools. Once fully funded, DME will also establish an Information Resource Center and Library on Public Policy and Student Aid.
All donors will be listed on the NASFAA Web site and in periodic updates in NASFAA's Today's News. Donors contributing $25 or more will also be listed in the December issue of Student Aid Transcript magazine, and those contributing $500 will be honored on a plaque in NASFAA's future Resource Center and Library.
