Welcome! The Pathways to College Network’s national outreach program database profiles hundreds of pre-college outreach programs as a free resource for students, parents, teachers, counselors, and college admissions officers looking for specific programs to meet their needs. Outreach programs can add themselves to the database or update their profiles at any time.
The College Board published much of this information in print in the 2001 Outreach Program Handbook. That work grew out of the ConnectED 2000 conference, sponsored by the College Board, The Education Resources Institute (TERI), The James Irvine Foundation, the National TRIO Clearinghouse at the Council for Opportunity in Education, the Sallie Mae Education Institute, the National Council for Community and Education Partnerships, and the U.S. Department of Education. In 2004, TERI, with the agreement of the College Board, re-packaged the Outreach Program Handbook as an online tool that can be searched by users, updated by program directors, and utilized by researchers to generate special reports.
