Important Information
NASFAA business practices require we have a minimum of (3)
contributors. If NASFAA does not secure the minimum, funds donated
will by refunded.
NASFAA is a non-profit public benefit organization recognized
by the Internal Revenue Service as a charitable educational
entity exempt from taxation pursuant to Section 501(c)(3) of
the Internal Revenue Code and to whom charitable contributions
may be made pursuant to Section 509(a)(3) of the Code. Based
upon discussions with various parties with an interest in these
activities, particularly but not limited to the Office of the
Attorney General of the State of New York, NASFAA advises organizations
contemplating support of NASFAAs exempt activities that
such support should be characterized as a charitable contribution,
and should be so recorded on the books of the supporting organization.
