Online Social Lending Could Help Some Students Pay For College (San Diego 6 News)

"Students have a new tool to pay for college. It's called online social lending. Students use the Internet to ask family, friends, even strangers for low cost loans," San Diego 6 News reports. "There are several new web sites that help students make the pitch for that extra cash. Call them the MySpace or Facebook of student lending. Students post a profile, then pitch family, friends, even strangers for cash."
