New Toolkit Provides Resources to Help Unaccompanied Homeless Youth
The National Association for the Education of Homeless Children and Youth (NAEHCY) has a new resource available to assist FAAs in their work with unaccompanied homeless youth. This "Unaccompanied Youth Toolkit" is specifically designed for college and university financial aid administrators. It includes a series of 1-2 page briefs that provide tools and strategies to help unaccompanied homeless youth complete the FAFSA, determine their eligibility as independent students, and support their success in post-secondary education. Topics covered include:
