Financial Aid in Your State
The federal government isn’t the only place that provides financial aid for college. You can qualify for many different grants, scholarships, and other types of aid by filling out the FAFSA and referring to your state higher education agency to see what’s available. In some cases, you might even be eligible for a tuition discount in another state. See NASFAA’s resources below to help you locate additional aid that can help make college affordable.
