The NASFAA Board of Directors recently approved a $5 increase to the base dues fee for the 2015-16 year, increasing the base fee from $825 to $830, and a .004 increase to the FTE multiplier from .085 to .089. This increase is less than average historical dues increases. It is being announced nearly eight months prior to the start of the fiscal year (July 1, 2015) to give schools sufficient time to plan accordingly.
“This minimal dues increase reflects our commitment to keeping institutions' organizational costs down while still being able to cover NASFAA's operating cost increases," said NASFAA National Chair Eileen O'Leary. "NASFAA’s Financial Affairs Committee, the NASFAA Board of Directors, and NASFAA management have worked together over many years to ensure that funds are spent in the best interests of NASFAA’s membership.”
“NASFAA fiscal health allows us to continue developing new products and services to meet members’ needs,” said NASFAA President Justin Draeger. “The AskRegs Knowledgeable, Student Aid Index, and further development of NASFAA University, along with additional services in the development pipeline demonstrate our continued commitment to focusing resources on member institutions.”
