Lee's Dill Elected To Serve On NASFAA

"Marian Dill, director of financial aid at Lee University, has been elected to serve on the National Board of Directors for the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators. She was elected to a two-year term as a representative-at-large to serve in the 2018-19 and 2019-20 program years," The Chattanoogan reports.

"'As a first-generation college graduate, I earned an early appreciation of Title IV aid benefits due to being a grateful recipient,' said Ms. Dill. 'My time as a financial aid administrator would not have been possible without the assistance of dedicated and knowledgeable mentors. Serving as a NASFAA Representative-at-Large will allow me the opportunity to pay my gratitude forward by continuing the heritage of professionalism, training, and mentoring.  I consider it a privilege and honor to serve in this capacity.'

Ms. Dill has been director of financial aid at Lee since 2013. She was elected into her new role by institutional NASFAA members across the country. Ms. Dill has served on the Board of Directors for the NASFAA since 2017. She has also served as president of Southern Association of Student Financial Aid Administration (SASFAA) since 2015.

She has been a presenter at multiple state, regional, and national conferences and meetings, including testifying before the U.S. Senate HELP Committee in regards to student loan reform in 2014.
