NASFAA Mention: Top Higher Ed Groups Create New DACA Resources Website

"Several influential higher education groups have created a new website, ‘Remember the Dreamers’, that will provide information and resources for students and institutions on what efforts are being made to help Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA, students," Diverse: Issues in Higher Education reports

..."The groups involved in the creation of the website are the American Council on Education; the American Association of Community Colleges; the American Association of State Colleges and Universities; the Association of American Universities; the Association of Public and  Land Grant Universities; the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities; the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities; the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators; the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities, the Association of Catholic Colleges And Universities; the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities; and the Presidents’ Alliance on Higher Education and Immigration; FWD.us, a pro-immigration lobbying group; THEDREAM.US, a college access program for DACA students; and Georgetown University.

“At Remember the Dreamers, we’re working to focus Congress on finding a legislative solution for Dreamers and DACA recipients, who are living in legal limbo while awaiting a U.S. Supreme Court ruling on the DACA program,” says the initiative on its website."
