Subject: Address Change for Submission to DHS of G-845S Form for "Battered Immigrants-Qualified Aliens"

On June 4, 2010, we published a Dear Colleague Letter (GEN-10-07) that provided important information on the Title IV eligibility of applicants who qualify under the Violence Against Women Act. On page 6 of that letter we provided the address of the Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) Buffalo field office to which G-845S forms would be sent if needed for such applicants. We have recently been informed by DHS that the address of their Buffalo field office has changed. Effectively immediately if, under the guidance of GEN-10-07, a school must send DHS an applicant's G-845S form and supporting documents, the forms should be sent to:

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services
10 Fountain Plaza, 3rd Floor
Buffalo, NY 14202
