But I owe you thanks as well for all you have done to make me feel a welcome part of the NASFAA team as this year's National Chair. Your patience, graciousness, and calm demeanor are the perfect complement to the hustle-and-bustle of financial aid. Thank you for all you have done to help aid administrators over the past 20 years, assisting NASFAA to achieve its mission of training and professional development.

20 years really went by very fast. You must feel that way as I'm sure it was a labor of love to serve your profession in this way. You leave your position well positioned for the future with the recent Certification Training process in place and apparently very successful. The NASFAA community owes you a debt that we could never repay. What a great legacy to leave as you begin the next phase of your life. All the best to you. Gary Spoales
