TRENDING IN FINAID NEWS

The school has just begun to offer online courses within an existing Title IV eligible program. The Program Participation Agreement (PPA) does not currently reflect any correspondence or distance education courses. Does this need to be updated with the offer of one or more online courses or is it updated once the program is more than 50 percent online?

Review the complete task force charter for more details and, if interested, complete the volunteer form.

 Compliance Engine Logo

While the Policies and Procedures (P&P) Builder Module of NASFAA's Compliance engine was designed to keep your manuals centralized, there are options for customizing PDF print versions of your work. You can print the entire manual, or limit the export to selected sections. You can display the instructions and linked resources, or only text you've entered. You can also choose to exclude incomplete sections; if you do so, ensure that any section you'd like to print has the "complete" checkbox selected. Finally, you can add an optional logo to your cover, and all versions include an, automatic hyperlinked table of contents. How does your manual look? Check it out in the Compliance Engine.

x - NOTABLE HEADLINES

"Will filling out more than 100 questions on the official form for financial aid be any easier this year? Maybe," the Detroit Free Press reports. "After all, this year there's an app for that. The new app to fill out the FAFSA form is called myStudentAid and was rolled out in a beta version this summer. It's available from both the Apple App Store and Google Play."
