Even experienced financial aid professionals need a hand now and then. Blue Icon Advisors, NASFAA’s consulting service, worked one-on-one with a new financial aid director who, despite working in financial aid for 30 years, was new to supervising staff. Through one-on-one, customized coaching, Blue Icon’s consultant was able to recommend actions that would provide a pathway for the director to be a fully engaged member of the campus community.
