Dear High School Counselor and TRIO Counselor:
The U.S. Department of Education is pleased to announce training for high school counselors and TRIO counselors who advise students and parents on student financial assistance for postsecondary education. A Department of Education trainer and a local college financial aid administrator will present the training, which begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 2:30 p.m. There is no charge for the workshop or participant materials, but you will need to make your own arrangements for lodging, transportation, and meals. You do not need to bring anything to the training site.
