"Building on last week's pledge of $1 million in scholarships for families of terrorist victims, Harvard University is helping to create a pool of money from colleges and universities around the country, seeding a scholarship fund that could potentially be worth tens of millions of dollars," the Boston Globe reports. The money would be available to children and spouses of victims of the attacks and would pay for college educations anywhere in the United States.The American Council on Education is joining Harvard in seeking contributions from other institutions.
