NASFAA is very pleased to announce that In Search of Best Practices--A NASFAA Symposium will be offered in April in Boise, ID; Washington, DC; and Dallas, TX; and in June in conjunction with the Rocky Mountain Association's Summer Institute in Colorado Springs, CO. This symposium will explore:
Enrollment Management. Do you need to evaluate your current financial aid strategies in relation to your enrollment goals? Enrollment goals need a change? Are you able to articulate the effectiveness of your current policy? Are you utilizing the right tools to make your institutional methodology case?
Legal Issues. Are you concerned about the legal implications of hiring, evaluating or firing staff? Worried about your personal liability in the financial aid office? Comfortable with the way your institution complies with FERPA?
E-Commerce Customer Service. Are you trying to expand available web services for parents, students and your staff? Struggling to develop an effective E-Commerce Strategy? Ready to move your students from "in line" to "on-line"?
When one of our NASFAA colleagues discovered that her boss had made arrangements for her to attend the symposium, she shouted "There IS a Santa Claus!" Her boss reminded her to be sure to bring back to campus "a stocking full of answers."
