Fed.Up Initiative Issues Chart
The House Committee on Education and the Workforce provides a Fed.Up Initiative Regulatory Relief Proposals chart in draft form on its Web site. The chart is available in PDF format and HTML format. The Department of Education stated in its recent proposed rules on negotiated rulemaking committees that many of the regulatory proposals the committees will address will be those submitted by individuals and organizations in response to the Fed.Up initiative.
The draft chart is an effort to provide for a review of the many issues that were submitted as part of the Fed.Up project. The Committee said the chart is a "work in progress" and will be updated periodically. It assures institutions that submitted a specific issue and do not find it in this chart that all issues submitted are being reviewed and they will be included as the chart is updated. Since many comments received were the same or similar on many topics, the Committee consolidated comments, rationale and proposed language to avoid duplication.
