NASFAA Offers Additional Suggestions to Improve Title IV Provisions in H.R. 4283

On May 26, NASFAA sent a supplemental statement to the House Committee on Education and the Workforce describing improvements needed in H.R. 4283 for the Title IV student aid programs. The Association requested that this statement be appended to NASFAA President Dallas Martin's May 12 testimony before the Committee to become part of the official hearing record.

NASFAA also endorsed a letter to the House Committee from 45 higher education associations that amplifies collective concerns about the bill that go beyond the Title IV programs. The community response includes a list of issues and suggestions for improvement and a chart summarizing new institutional reporting requirements in H.R. 4283.

Please see NASFAA's H.R. 4283 summary posted May 27 for additional background.
