Planning for the 2006 NASFAA Conference scheduled for July 5 to 8 in Seattle continues to take shape. A preliminary schedule with session titles has been posted to the Web site along with information about our general sessions and speakers.
In addition to Robert Reich, who will keynote the NASFAA Conference, NASFAA is pleased to announce that we have confirmed Bertice Berry, scholar, author, and entertainer, as our Friday Luncheon Speaker.
NASFAA has also confirmed that on Saturday, July 8, the U.S. Department of Education will provide an update at the closing breakfast that will include the most current information about ED's implementation of provisions included in the Higher Education Reconciliation Act of 2005. The Conference will also feature a general session on reauthorization.
