Save The Dates - NASFAA Webinar Series To Be Held April 3, 4, and 12 at 2:00 PM EDT
NASFAA's Webinar Series on ACG/SMART Grants continues with a 3-part presentation titled "Identifying Eligible Students." In this segment of the ACG/SMART series, NASFAA staff will present training which looks at the specific program eligibility requirements for students to receive ACG/SMART Grants, such as:
Enrollment and citizenship criteria,
Rigorous secondary school programs of study,
Pell Grant eligibility,
Eligible majors,
Grade point average requirements,
Progression from one grant level to another, and
Other issues surrounding student eligibility requirements.
NASFAA has arranged for policy experts from the Department of Education (ED) to join us to answer questions and ensure that the best and most recent information is provided.
NASFAA's Webinar Series on ACG/SMART Grants began with ED operations personnel presenting updates on reporting and fund management. A second Webinar on those and other operational topics is planned for April 25.
More information about the Webinar series is available on the Webinar Center. Registration for the Webinars is scheduled to open on Monday, March 26, 2007. Stay tuned to Today's News for more information.
