Dear Colleague:
We are pleased to announce the availability of the recorded version of
the live Internet-based briefing presented by the Department of Education
student aid policy staff. The briefing provided an overview of the student
loan provisions of the recently enacted Ensuring Continued Access to Student
Loans Act of 2008 (ECASLA), Public Law 110-227, and important information
on the requirements and provisions of the new TEACH Grant Program that
became effective on July 1, 2008.
The briefing took place on Tuesday, June 17, 2008 from 2:00
pm to 3:30 pm Eastern Time, and was approximately 1 and 1/2 hours
in length.
