Additional Sections of the NASFAA Self-Evaluation Guide for 2007-08 Now Available

Additional sections of the twenty-third edition of the NASFAA Self-Evaluation Guide for Institutional Participation in Title IV and Other Federal Programs are now available on NASFAA's Web site at http://www.nasfaa.org/Publications/SelfEvalMenu.asp.

The Self-Evaluation Guide serves as an in-house self assessment tool to help your institution prepare for required audits of the institution’s administration of the Title IV and U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) student financial assistance programs during the 2007-08 award year. Requirements representing changes effective for the 2007-08 award year are highlighted. We hope that you find the Guide helpful as you evaluate your institution’s compliance with current statutes, regulations, and other U.S. Department of Education (ED) and HHS requirements.

The Guide is being posted in phases. This phase includes the following sections:

  • Institutional Policies and Procedures;
  • Cash Management; and
  • Academic Competitiveness Grant (ACG) and National Science and Mathematics Access to Retain Talent (SMART) Grant.

The Guide is a benefit of NASFAA membership. You will need a Web ID and a password to access it.
