Oklahoma: Bill Would Expand State Tuition-Free Program (The Oklahoman)

"Sen. Kenneth Corn's proposal would make [Oklahoma's] tuition-free program for college-bound students available for those who currently don't qualify," The Oklahoman reports. "Students whose high school grade point average is below 2.5 could qualify for free tuition and fees at two-year colleges, under this legislation. If the students maintain a 2.5 grade point average during those first two years, they'll receive additional state scholarship funds to complete their bachelor degree, Corn, D-Poteau, said."
