Servicing Platform Unaffected

Rockville, MD, April 23, 2008. Campus Partners, a provider of education loan services, announced today that it is suspending all private loan originations, effective immediately. This action is a result of the inability of the company to fund new loans in the unstable credit market for student loans. Campus Partners will work closely with its customers to minimize the impact of this decision on their business.

The company, with locations in Rockville, MD and Winston-Salem, NC will focus on its student loan servicing operations, which will be unaffected by the suspension of the private loan originations. The company currently services Perkins and private Loans for more than 400 customers nationwide.
