Merger enhances consulting resources available to the higher education community
Fort Collins, CO (April 9, 2008) - Today, The Evans Consulting Group, Inc. (ECG), a leader in higher education consulting services since 1995, announced its agreement to acquire the Center for Higher Education Support Services, Inc. (CHESS). The merger includes acquisition of CHESS, Inc., its web pages (www.chessconsulting.org), contact referral system, and other related consulting resources.

Under its current president, Mark Williams, CHESS has provided financial aid consulting services to colleges, universities, and other industry partners for over 15 years. Mr. Williams will work with ECG for a 90-day period to effectively transition CHESS's services.
