This session will provide a panel discussion on best practices from different institutional perspectives. Panelists will discuss how they have
Consolidate services for the benefit of their students. All panel members are from institutions which currently have a successful working consolidated services model.
Creating, Managing and Making the Best of Web-based Training
Web-based training is the current trend. This session will include the sharing of best practices in developing web-based training platforms. The presenters will share their experiences in developing this emerging wave of training.
Lender Practices - the Latest News
This session will include a panel of seasoned financial aid administrators who will review the latest guidance on creating preferred lender lists, issue related to conflict of interest and lender codes of conduct.
Navigating and Implementing Changes with the Academic Competitiveness Grant (ACG) and the Science and Mathematics Access to Retain Talent (SMART) Grant
This panel discussion will include how various schools have implemented these two programs on their respective campuses. The facilitated discussion will include a review of office structures to handle student eligibility, collaboration with admissions and other college/university departments, awarding, monitoring and how the latest guidance from FSA has been implemented.
