Best Practices Symposium: NASFAA To Offer Symposium At Two Locations - Register Now

Julia Benz, director of student financial aid at The Ohio State University, and Mike Scott, director of financial aid at Texas Christian University, discuss the nuances of professionalism and ethics in the financial aid office in NASFAA's new podcast series Financial Aid Perspectives.

NASFAA will offer the 2008 Best Practices Symposium, Professionalism and Ethics, at two locations - the Seattle Westin in Seattle, Washington on April 5, 2008, and the Inn & Conference Center at the University of Maryland University College in Adelphi, Maryland on April 21, 2008. Registration is now open, but is limited at each location, so make your plans now to attend.

Participants will examine what the terms professionalism and ethics mean and the relationship between them within the context of the various roles financial aid administrators perform and the various constituents they must serve. The Best Practices Symposium targets intermediate and advanced aid administrators (directors, associate directors, assistant directors, and experienced counselors) and is a good resource for other campus officials responsible for the institution's recruitment and enrollment management.

Please visit the Best Practices Symposium Web site at www.nasfaa.org/SubHomes/BestPractices/index.html for additional information about what the Symposium will cover, the presenters, registration, location specifics, and fees.
