NASFAA National Conference - Session Offered On Disaster Preparedness
Representatives of the 2007-2008 Institutional Program Management Committee from Virginia Tech and Loyola University New Orleans will share their experiences preparing for and recovering from emergencies at a 2008 NASFAA conference interest session on Sunday, July 6, at 2:30-3:45 PM. Whether the cause is a catastrophic weather event, wild fires, or sudden violence, the result is inevitably disruption, confusion, and loss.
Hear from those who have experienced major disruptions on campus about ways to plan for the worst and for the often extended period of recovery for students, staff and operations. Bring your questions and suggestions about ways to best communicate on campus when communication is virtually impossible.
