Mohave Community College Hires New Aid Director (Mohave Daily News)
"Two months of retirement were enough for Bill Osborn, who has been hired as the new director of financial aid for Mohave Community College," the Mohave Daily News reports. "Osborn retired late last year from his combined job as associate dean of student services and director of financial aid from the College of Eastern Utah, in Price, where he had been employed for 20 years. 'I found I was too young and too bored to retire, so I decided to look around and see what I could find,' he said. 'I went and visited all three and found Kingman and Mohave County to be pretty much like home,' Osborn said. 'It has a few different cactuses, but it looks pretty much like the Price area, and I liked that as well as the people I met at MCC. I also grew up along the Colorado River (in Blanding, Utah), so it is an added bonus to have the river so close.'"
