NASFAA is pleased to announce the release of questions and answers resulting from the December 13, 2007 Webinar, The ACG and SMART Grant Programs Revisited.

The limited time of the Webinar prevented us from answering all of the questions submitted during the live event. We have researched the questions that were submitted, and in some cases, consulted with officials from the Department of Education. Please note that the final document was not reviewed by the Department of Education. We hope that this list of 79 Q&As, organized by topic area, will help you to better understand the administration of the ACG and SMART Grant programs.

On November 15, 2007 NASFAA presented its first Webinar on the final rules for the ACG and SMART Grant programs. This Webinar described the changes made by the October 29, 2007, final rules to the ACG and SMART Grant programs.

On December 13, 2007, NASFAA presented its second Webinar" on the ACG and SMART Grant programs, which addressed implementation of the new rules based on questions received and additional guidance provided by the Department of Education. Handouts from both Webinars are available at NASFAA's Webinar Center.
