Reminder: Advisory Committee Seeks Assistance on Burdensome Regulations
The Advisory Committee on Student Financial Assistance has issued a press release reminding the public that they are seeking comment on student aid regulations that are burdensome, duplicative, no longer necessary, or inconsistent with other federal regulations.
NASFAA began collecting member comments in April and has also conducted a comprehensive review of all Title IV regulations. NASFAA legislative and regulatory staff have also met with Advisory Committee staff to discuss some of the issues and costs associated with burdensome and duplicative regulations. NASFAA will be submitting its comments in the near future.
If you have comments you would like to share, please send them to the Advisory Committee directly on their Community Suggestions Website and also send a copy to us at policy@nasfaa.org.
