Stop by the Dallas Martin Endowment Booth at the Conference to Pick Up Your Gift!

While you’re in San Antonio for NASFAA’s 2009 Conference, stop by the Dallas Martin Endowment booth near the registration area. There you can:

  1. Make a contribution and receive a silver or gold lapel pin as a thank you gift
  2. Learn more about the Dallas Martin Endowment for Public Policy and Student Aid
  3. Preview an upcoming article in Student Aid Transcript about Dallas’ activities in retirement with photos of Dr. Martin and his family
  4. Meet members of the NASFAA staff

If you’ve already contributed to the Dallas Martin Endowment, stop by the booth to pick up your lapel pin. Donors not present at the conference will receive their lapel pin by mail to wear proudly at their state and regional conferences, as well as next year’s NASFAA Conference.

The Dallas Martin Endowment supports internships in student aid advocacy and research for promising students. The fund will help NASFAA to cultivate a strong generation of advocates who understand the complexities of higher education funding and can fight successfully on Capitol Hill on behalf of students.

The fund will also support a future Research Center and Library that will serve as a resource for state and regional leaders as well as researchers and policy analysts.

The Endowment is named in honor of NASFAA President Emeritus Dr. A. Dallas Martin, who retired in 1975 after 32 years as NASFAA president. His accomplishments proved that powerful, well-informed advocacy can have a positive effect on student aid. His endowment fund continues that legacy.

Donations will be accepted at the NASFAA Conference as well as online. Donors not present at the conference will receive their lapel pin by mail. NASFAA is a 501(c)3 organization, and all contributions to the fund are tax deductible.

Constant, committed advocacy based on solid research and analysis is the only way that we can ensure student aid will always be available to needy students. Help grow our future student aid advocates - support the Dallas Martin Endowment!
