NASFAA Urges Senate to Pass HEA Technical Amendments
Yesterday, NASFAA President Dr. Philip Day sent a letter to the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions, urging them to pass H.R. 1777 which makes technical amendments to the Higher Education Act of 1965. The bill would suspend PLUS auctions for one year, and rectify recent problems in the loan market that prevent rehabilitation of eligible loans.
