Registration Ends Today for the Satisfactory Academic Progress Live Webinar

Registration ends at 5:00 PM (EDT) today for NASFAA's new webinar, "Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP): Evaluating Your Policy." The live event will be presented this Wednesday, October 7, at 1:30 p.m. EDT.

Experienced NASFAA members and staff will help you evaluate the effectiveness and compliance of your SAP policies. Featured topics will include:

  • An overview of the standards for an effective SAP policy
  • The treatment of atypical academic grades and coursework:
    • Nonpunitive grades and repeated courses
    • Audited and pass/fail courses
    • Withdrawals and nonattendance
    • Incomplete grades
    • Noncredit remedial and enrichment courses
    • English as a Second Language (ESL) courses
    • Consortium credit hours earned/failed
    • Treatment of multiple degrees, i.e. second certificate or associate/baccalaureate/graduate degree
    • Treatment of double majors
    • Transfer hours from foreign institutions
  • How to handle student appeals and reinstatements
  • Consumer information requirements

Site License: $85 members; $185 non-members

As a registered participant, you will have access to the live Webinar and an archive of the entire event, including the presentation and handouts, for up to three months. You can also invite as many people from your organization as you wish to view the Webinar from a single login.
