Just the thought of awarding financial aid for summer can strike fear in the heart of even the most courageous financial aid administrator. But take heart: on March 17, at 1:30 p.m. EDT, four experts from the NASFAA staff will present a 90-minute Webinar to help you meet the challenges of the summer aid process, including term formats; determining enrollment status; selecting the award year; allocation issues; calculating financial need; and packaging, disbursing, and delivering summer aid. The Webinar will also cover the latest available information on relevant reauthorization issues.
Featured presenters include Jennifer Martin, Stacey Peterson, Eileen Welsh, and moderator Eunice Powell, who are all members of NASFAA's Professional Assessment, Training, and Regulatory Assistance staff. Participants in the live Webinar event will be invited to submit questions to the presenters, which will be answered during or after the training.
Train Your Entire Staff For One Price
The site license cost for the 90-minute Webinar is $75 for NASFAA Members and $175 for non-members. Using a single login, your entire staff - or as many people from your organization as you wish - can participate for the price of a single registration. And as a registered participant, you will have access to the live Webinar and an archive of the entire event, including the presentation and handouts, for up to five months.
Registration is required for both the live event and the archived, recorded version of the event. Simply go to NASFAA's Webinar Center to register. You will be prompted to enter your myNASFAA account login information. There are options to receive your login if you do not have it. Be sure to add "on24.com" to the safe address list of your junk email blocker/filter to make sure you receive all webcast communications from us.
Note that while NASFAA is committed to providing its members with free Webinars on topics such as new legislation and regulations, a modest fee is required for NASFAA's training and professional development Webinars to assist with the costs of developing the materials and transmitting and archiving the event.
St. Paddy's Not Your Lucky Day? That's OK!
If you can't participate in the live Webinar on March 17, you can still receive all of the benefits of the event by registering to view a full, archived recording of the training, and download all slides and handouts. See the NASFAA Webinar Center for details.
Don't delay! Registration for the live Webinar will close on March 15, 2009, at 5:00 p.m. EDT!
