Recession Threatens Student Loan Forgiveness Programs (NPR)

"Pursuing a public sector career, such as teaching and nursing, once had a definite plus for students - specifically, their student loans would be paid back via state or federal programs," NPR reports. "But, the recession has put some of these state programs in jeopardy and placed some college graduates in limbo about how they will repay mounds of student debt."
