Wilmington, Delaware (August 8, 2009) -- Access Group, the nonprofit graduate loan specialist, was recently named "Best in the Business" in an annual competition sponsored by Delaware's The News Journal. The organization was named a "Top Employer" in the "Best Large Companies" category. More than 95 employers throughout Delaware took part in the workplace analysis survey representing nearly 30,000 employees and more than 7% of Delaware's working population.
Contest results were based on answers to an electronic survey, conducted by Workplace Dynamics, in which participating employees were asked to rate their workplace on issues such as quality of life in the business environment, company culture, leadership, quality of employees, training, benefits and pay scale. The survey was disseminated to businesses in twelve of the state's business sectors including advertising, health care, hospitality, education, nonprofit, professional services and retail.
This is the third time Access Group has been recognized in the "Best in the Business" competition. The company was chosen as the "Best Place to Work" in the Banking and Finance category in both 2003 and 2004.
According to Christopher P.
