Getting to the NASFAA Conference hotels from the San Antonio International Airport is quite easy.
The SATRANS Airport Express shuttle charges $18.00 per person to downtown hotels, or $32.00 for a round trip ticket. They provide regular scheduled shuttle service from the San Antonio International Airport to the downtown hotels from 7:00 am to 1:00 am daily. Shuttle tickets are sold at the baggage claim area in Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, or you can make your reservation online to receive a discount.
The least expensive option is the VIA bus company which offers rides to downtown for about $1 Monday through Sunday (transfers may be required). See Ground Transportation Agents at the curbsides of each terminal for transportation schedules and bus pick-up area and drop off area. For more information call 210-362-2020.
Taxi cabs are also available at the lower level curbside, outside of baggage claim, at Terminal 1 and at the front curbside of Terminal 2. For assistance, please contact the Airport Ground Transportation Agent wearing an airport badge. Fare to San Antonio downtown areas are approximately $20 to $23 per taxicab. (Up to 4 people may share a cab.)
For getting around town once you've arrived, check out the Streetcar. All four streetcar routes connect you to the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center. The best deal is to buy a One Day Pass for $4.00. You can pick up a streetcar brochure in your hotel lobby. Or, try the Rio Taxi water taxi service. It stops at 39 locations on the River Walk. Purchase a one-way pass for $5, a 24-hour pass for $10 or a 3-day pass for $25.
Visit the San Antonio International Airport for more information. We look forward to seeing you in San Antonio!
