The Department has launched an American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) Web center where it will post information about the new law as it becomes available.

Currently, the Web center includes a Department press release about the signing of ARRA into law, a detailed fact sheet about the new law, a brief "video statement" by Education Secretary Arne Duncan, and links to budget information - including state-by-state allocations for formula-based programs.

The ARRA Web center also includes a link to the Recovery.gov Web site, which is now live. Recovery.gov aims to explain the new law, show how, when and where ARRA money is spent, and provide data for citizens to evaluate ARRA progress and provide feedback.
