The 2009 fiscal year drew to a close on yesterday. While the House managed to complete its work on all 12 spending bills, the Senate has not been able to move as quickly. The House and Senate have passed continuing resolutions to keep federal programs funded at current levels through October. Both the House and Senate are expected to pass education spending bills that keep most Title IV programs at level funding.
