Grugel Elected PASFAA President
Ken Grugel, director of financial aid/veterans affairs at Clarion University, has been elected president of the Pennsylvania Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (PASFAA) for the 2010-11 academic year.
Grugel has previously served as PASFAA's vice-president and a sector delegate representing the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education. As a 33-year member of PASFAA, Grugel has also received the organizations Leadership Award in 2002, and the Distinguished Service Award in 2006.
In 2002 Grugel chaired the PASFAA Governmental Affairs committee, which was awarded the national associations State Committee of the Year award. He also has been a member of numerous other PASFAA and National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA) committees, receiving the NASFAA Committee of the Year award for chairing the research committee from 2006-08. Grugel has been employed at Clarion University for the past 28 years.
