Members of the financial aid community are invited to register for a free Webinar to be broadcast on Wednesday, January 27, 2010, at 1:30 PM EST on the Net Price Calculator (NPC). The Webinar is funded by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).

The Net Price Calculator Webinar, co-hosted by the Association for Institutional Research (AIR) and NASFAA, will provide a demonstration of the NPC template as well as some background on the calculator and the related disclosure requirements. Additionally, a panel of experts will answer Webinar participant questions at the end of the presentation.

Registration

Registration is required to attend the NPC Webinar. The link for Webinar registration will be available at www.airweb.org/NPCwebinar on Wednesday, January 20, 2010, at 11:00 AM (EST). Space is limited so register early. Due to capacity limitations, only the first 500 registrants will be able to participate in the live event. However, all registrants, including those unable to participate in the live broadcast, will have free and unlimited access to the archived recording after the event.

NASFAA encourages financial aid staff to invite their institutional research staff to join them in viewing the broadcast. However, schools that do not enroll first time, full time students, such as graduate and professional institutions, are not subject to the requirement to develop and post an NPC on their Web site.
