Scholarship Application for Students From Foster Care Now Available
Casey Family Programs and The Orphan Foundation of American are pleased to announce that applications for college scholarships for students from foster care are now available for the 2010-2011 academic year. The Casey Family Scholars Program will award approximately 75 new scholarships for undergraduate study and career/technical training at accredited institutions and programs. A limited number of graduate school scholarships will also be awarded. Scholarships include support services.
Undergraduate scholarships are awarded based on a combination of merit and need, and funding levels are determined based on cost of attendance and other resources. Graduate scholarships are merit-based and provide $10,000 for post-graduate study in any field. Graduate scholarships are renewable for one year.
The online application closes at midnight March 31, 2010.
